CueBrain Widgets Help You Learn Passively

Android has this neat concept called widgets. You can add parts of your favorite apps to the desktop and they will show you periodically updating content.

CueBrainĀ (6.03.006) now supports this too! Every time you make a mistake during a quiz, the cue card is recorded on your phone. If you add a CueBrain widget to the desktop, it will cycle through the cue cards you had trouble with. How cool is that?

To do this in older versions of Android:

  1. Press the Home key to go to your desktop
  2. Tap and hold an empty spot on your desktop
  3. Tap Add Widgets
  4. Add the CueBrain widget

To do this in newer version of Android:

  1. Press the Home key to go to your desktop
  2. Tap the applications button in the bottom center of the screen
  3. Tap the Widgets tab on the top left of the screen
  4. Swipe right to left until you find CueBrain
  5. Tap and hold the CueBrain widget and drop it where you want it on your desktop
  6. If you tap and hold the widget again and let it go in the same place, it will become resizable. You can now drag its edges to change its size. Sorry this only works on Android 3.1 and later.

Enjoy!
